Whether you're headed here for a multi-generational family trip (like I did), a solo road trip or you're grabbing your gaggle of girlfriends to find a land of adventure - Nova Scotia will not disappoint.\r\n<h1>Some of my favorite experiences<\/h1>\r\n<h3>Going beyond the popular sites to find my Nova Scotian loves<\/h3>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/train-to-nova-scotia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Montreal to Halifax<\/a>: Mom and I cruised (via train) along the Ocean Route - give it a whirl.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/cape-breton-hikes-adventures\/\">Cape Breton Highlands National Park in their \u201cRed Chair Challenge\u201d<\/a>: Where we found one of the favorite and most clever uses of the Adirondack chair I've ever experienced.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.novascotia.com\/see-do\/attractions\/halifax-citadel-national-historic-site\/1440\">Halifax Citadel!<\/a>: Where we spent some time doing our best to make the guards crack a smile at - because, why not?<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/bay-of-fundy-activities\/\">The Bay of Fundy<\/a>: The tides found here are unique and most definitely destination worthy. The spot alone spreads its claim to fame of having the highest tidal range in the world.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/nova-scotia-driving-holiday\/\">Road tripping<\/a>: Our 'over the river and through the woods', took us past Nova Scotia past lighthouses, rocky beaches and lobster boats - picturesque doesn't even cut it.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/guysborough-nova-scotia-small-town-big-attractions\/\">Guysborough<\/a>: Spending some time exploring the culture and cuisine of \u201csmall town\u201d Canada<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/cabot-trail-itinerary-one-day-cape-breton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cabot Trail<\/a>: Hiking the highlands on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/cape-breton-hikes-adventures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cape Breton<\/a> Cabot Trail - whether you have one day or five, this experience is totally worth it!<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ottsworld.com\/blogs\/cabot-cliffs-golf-course-cape-breton-nova-scotia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cabot Cliffs Golf Course<\/a>: Where even the non-golfers like me can have an incredible experience.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Hotels in Nova Scotia<\/h3>\r\nHeaded north to Nova Scotia can to search for adventure and a fabulous accommodation experience?
