Wow! That will be quite an adventure! I loved Fairbanks…it has such a great community there. I’m actually heading back there for a few weeks in Feb. I wanted to see what it was like in the winter there! Hope you have some warm clothes for those kiddos!

Why would you want a movie theater when traveling? Fairbanks is a big city and it has movie theaters – plenty of them – but that’s not what I would recommend travelers to do.

Besides, the surroundings of Fairbanks look gorgeous. It reminds me of the time I ended up in Sarchi, Costa Rica. I was the only tourist in town I think and after a while word had spread about my presence. I went to a bar for a beer and ended up chatting to a lovely girl who was telling me that she was pregnant, her fiancé was in the US and she’d soon join him. It was a special night 🙂
